CLARKSVILLE, Ohio -
Clinton-Massie (Clarksville, Ohio) gained the lead on a
Bayle Wolf touchdown run with 1:00 to go in the fourth quarter to upset
Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, Ohio) 27-21 on Saturday.
The Cardinals pulled ahead on a touchdown run by
Mark Handel, and subsequently went into halftime leading 21-14. The Falcons scored the winning points with a Wolf touchdown run that came in the fourth quarter.
Despite scoring six points in the third, Clinton-Massie still trailed by one point going into the fourth quarter. But seven points in the fourth helped the Clarksville school pull out the victory.
