The Pender Pendragons put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Wisner-Pilger 59-25 at home. Pender has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 25 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pender to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hadley Walsh, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Walsh is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kyla Krusemark, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Pender's win was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-0. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.25 points. As for Wisner-Pilger, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Pender won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Glenwood at 10:25 a.m. on January 20th. Glenwood has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Wisner-Pilger, they will be playing at home against Howells-Dodge at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
