Adding to the longest winning streak in Freelance this week, De La Salle beat Monte Vista 35-7. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.
Logan took down Irvington 56-18 last week, the largest margin of any game.
De La Salle's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Chris Williams threw for 128 and 1 touchdown and Marquis Morris had 58 yards receiving. On the ground John Velasco chipped in 133 yards. Antoine Custer helped De La Salle's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 49 yards.
Morris was the best receiver in the league this week as Justin Alumbaugh's team bested the Mustangs. Morris tallied 3 receptions for 58 yards. Custer helped De La Salle's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 49 yards.
De La Salle's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Spartans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Williams has thrown for 870 yards and 6 touchdowns this season, while Morris has 15 catches for 292 yards.
The Colts led the league in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on the Vikings.
