While Churubusco didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the West Noble Chargers on Thursday. Considering the Eagles have won six games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Churubusco and bumps their season record up to 9-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for West Noble, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Churubusco will venture away from home to face off against DeKalb at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for West Noble, they will challenge Hamilton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
