The South Dade Buccaneers and the Miami Stingarees squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the South Dade Buccaneers had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Stingarees on the road and fell 64-30. South Dade's loss continues an unfortunate trend for the squad, making it five in a row.
Miami got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Joseph Jean out in front who scored 22 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jean has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Romari Robinson, who scored 11 points along with seven assists and four steals.
South Dade has not been sharp recently as the team's lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for Miami, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.
South Dade does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Miami, they will square off against Palmetto at TBD on Thursday. Miami is coming into the contest with six straight wins on the road, meaning Palmetto will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
