After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Paetow, the Jordan Warriors were happy to have found some success on Friday. They secured a 59-55 W over Katy. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Jordan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rayan Fadika led the charge by scoring 15 points along with nine rebounds. Fadika continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Oluokun, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
Jordan's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Katy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4.
Jordan will take on Cinco Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Cinco Ranch is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Katy, they will take on Paetow at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Paetow is ranked 123rd, while Katy is ranked 115th).
