Malique Campbell Campbell Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Saturday, Hanover Area got the W thanks in part to Malique Campbell Campbell playing the best football he has all season. Campbell rushed for 278 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 61 yards.
With the victory, Hanover Area broke their 11-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-7. Campbell and Hanover Area will challenge Lake-Lehman on Friday.

Lidge Kellum Dazzles in Wyoming Area Win
Lidge Kellum was instrumental in extending Wyoming Area's winning streak to five on Friday. Nobody could stop Kellum as he rushed for 207 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 103 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Lake-Lehman, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Kellum. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Kellum saw the Knights), he rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown.

On Friday, Wyoming Area got the W thanks in part to Trustin Johnson playing the best football he has all season. Johnson rushed for 36 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 45 yards and two touchdowns.
For the season, Johnson has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 38.4 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had one rushing touchdown.
