Crisp County was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. Everything went their way against the Cook Hornets as the Crisp County Cougars made off with a 4-1 victory. The score was close at the half, but the Cougars pulled away in the second half with four goals.

Crisp County's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9. As for Cook, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Crisp County face off against Sumter County at 5:30 p.m. on March 31st. Cook will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Atkinson County at 5:00 p.m. on April 8th.
