Suburban One - National recap November 19, 2013
Abington was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping Garnet Valley. The Galloping Ghosts came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 29 last week.
Neshaminy took down Spring-Ford 56-27 last week, the largest margin of any game. D'andre Pollard ran for 184 yards during the win.
The Redskins' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyler Wombough threw for 82 yards and Hamiid Pack had 52 yards receiving. On the ground Pollard contributed 184 yards. Luke Carrezola helped Neshaminy's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 18 yards.
Pollard was a passing and rushing force as Neshaminy topped the Rams. Pollard's key target this week was Pack, who caught 2 passes for 52 yards.
Pollard was the best running back in Suburban One - National this week. Teammate Denny Lord added to the ground attack by rushing for 35 yards.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Pack. The Neshaminy star has 30 catches for 483 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Mark Schmidt's team and Abington. The Redskins enters the game ranked fourth in the state, while Tim Sorber's team ranks 25th.
Neshaminy led the league in scoring this week by notching 56 points on Spring-Ford. Pollard in the win.
