Despite the loss, Jordan-Elbridge still got an impressive performance from Abbie Ahern, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. Ahern hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for eight straight games. Erin Lavancha was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.
Jordan-Elbridge's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5. As for Phoenix, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jordan-Elbridge will take on Hannibal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Phoenix, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Solvay at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
