Even though the Holton Wildcats scored an imposing 56 points on Monday, the Bonner Springs Braves still came out on top. Bonner Springs took their match against Holton 63-56. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bonner Springs also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Bonner Springs was led to victory by Jason Jones and Kalen Streit. Jones scored 11 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals, while Streit scored 18 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Corey Rolfe jr. was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Bonner Springs and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Holton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Bonner Springs won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Highland Park at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. As for Holton, they will head out on the road to face off against Nemaha Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
