The Blair Blazers and the Springbrook Blue Devils will face off at 7:15 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Blair will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 231st, while Springbrook is ranked 114th).
Blair suffered their biggest loss since December 13, 2023 on Tuesday. They were the victim of a rough 78-54 loss at the hands of Paint Branch. Blair has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Springbrook waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 66-45 margin over Rockville. That 21 points margin sets a new team best for Springbrook this season.
Blair's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Springbrook, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
Blair was able to grind out a solid win over Springbrook when the teams last played back in February of 2023, winning 71-62. Does Blair have another victory up their sleeve, or will Springbrook turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
