Cottondale has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Tuesday. They will take on the Malone Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Cottondale had to suffer through a rough 46-13 loss at the hands of Sneads. Cottondale was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-8.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 51-22, which was the final score in Malone's tilt against Chipley on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Malone has scored all season.
Cottondale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Malone, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-5.
Cottondale couldn't quite finish off Malone when the teams last played back in January and fell 36-34. Can Cottondale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
