Jamie Madara has led Academy of the New Church in stolen bases on the season and she led the team again on Tuesday. Madara wasn't messing around, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. The game was her fourth straight with at least one stolen base.

Madara and Academy of the New Church will be playing at home against Shipley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions got just the result they wanted when they last faced Shipley thanks in part to Madara: she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched.
