Salisbury Township waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 12-7 victory over the Bangor Slaters. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Salisbury Township let Caleb Gonzalez and Nate Nunez run wild. Gonzalez scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4, while Nunez went 2-for-5 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI Nunez has posted since back in April of 2024. Dominic Gracia was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

Salisbury Township was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .389. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .364 or higher in three consecutive games.

Salisbury Township's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Bangor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salisbury Township will square off against Executive Education Academy Charter School at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Falcons are facing the Raptors at the right time seeing as the Raptors are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bangor, they will face off against Palisades at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
