Lake Hamilton lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Little Rock Christian Academy, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's match. The Wolves put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 14-2 win on Monday. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by ten runs or more this season.

Hadison Butterbredt was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Lake Hamilton got a massive performance out of Kaitlyn Guthrie, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave Guthrie a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Remy Wozniak, who went 2-for-4 with two triples, two RBI, and one run.
Lake Hamilton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, El Dorado got the win against Hot Springs on Tuesday by a conclusive 16-6. Considering the Wildcats' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
The victory made it two in a row for Lake Hamilton and bumps their season record up to 9-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for El Dorado, their record now sits at 4-13-1.
Lake Hamilton came out on top in a nail-biter against El Dorado when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 11-9. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
