There's no place like home for Lakeland Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in December of 2024. They blew past the Geneva Classical Academy Knights, posting a 55-5 win. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 30 points or more this season.

Lakeland Christian was led to victory by Rudi Jessee and Khloe Overstreet. Jessee went 9 for 16 on her way to 21 points and six steals, while Overstreet went 7 of 11 on her way to 17 points and three steals. Jessee has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Collette Zavada, who posted five points and three steals.

Lakeland Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.5 points per game. As for Geneva Classical Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

As for Geneva Classical Academy, they will head out to challenge Winter Haven Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
