Rogers has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Little River Academy Bumblebees at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Rogers beat C.H. Yoe 39-26. The victory was just what Rogers needed coming off of a 51-27 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Little River Academy can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 61-28 win over Troy. The win was familiar territory for Little River Academy who now have four in a row.
Rogers has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Little River Academy, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-8.
Rogers took a serious blow against Little River Academy when the teams last played on January 2nd, falling 68-41. Can Rogers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
