Volleyball Recap: Ava Triumphs

The Ava Bears earned a 2-0 win over the Lutie Indians on Saturday.

Ava found their leader in freshman Kendall Fortner, who had five digs and five aces.

Ava was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last six contests.

Ava's victory bumped their record up to 12-14-2. As for Lutie, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Ava has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Sparta on the 18th. Lutie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
