After flying high against Sterling Heights  last Wednesday, Clintondale came back down to earth. Pearson was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI and a  triple. He hasn't dropped below three  RBI for three straight games.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jake Estes, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. He has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last six times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Riley Martin, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Clintondale's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for New Haven, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-9.
 Clintondale will be playing in front of their home fans against Lutheran Northwest at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
