Taylorsville never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Granger Lancers as they made off with a 21-0 victory. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.
Jaelyne Zapata was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
In other batting news, Megan Sterzer was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two triples. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Karli Brown, who went 2-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI.
Taylorsville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Granger only managed two hits.
