Anthony Jones continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Rocky Mount's points. Another player making a difference was Emanauel Battle, who scored 18 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Southern Nash over Bunn in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Southern Nash strolled past Bunn with points to spare, taking the game 66-51. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Southern Nash.
Rocky Mount's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Southern Nash, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season.
Rocky Mount came out on top in a nail-biter against Southern Nash when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 54-51. Will Rocky Mount repeat their success, or does Southern Nash have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
