Monument Valley has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Pinnacle Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Monument Valley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 447 points over their last seven matchups.
Monument Valley stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 73-48 margin over Whitehorse. Monument Valley's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Nevaeh Wilson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 29 points. She is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Precious Bedonie, who scored 18 points.
Meanwhile, Pinnacle was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 31-25 to the Buckaroo.
Monument Valley's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Pinnacle, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Monument Valley against the Panthers when the teams last played on January 13th as the team secured a 56-28 victory.
