The Cheshire Rams were the 60-54 winner over the Sheehan Titans when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Cheshire was just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 52-51 to Sheehan. Cheshire has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Sheehan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jackson Crowellmasi, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Crowellmasi pulled down eight or more rebounds. Jake O'Brien was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven assists.
Cheshire's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Sheehan, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Cheshire will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Maloney at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (Maloney is ranked 93rd, while Cheshire is ranked 115th). Sheehan is on the road again on Friday and play against Guilford at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th.
