Carlos Vazquez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Wayne Country Day, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 16 rebounds. Vazquez is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayleb Coles, who scored 15 points.
Living Water Christian now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Wayne Country Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 19 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.
Living Water Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Wayne Preparatory Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. Hopefully Wayne Preparatory Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Saturday. As for Wayne Country Day, they will head out on the road to take on Epiphany at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Epiphany is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
