Owendale-Gagetown will challenge Caseville on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. If the match is anything like the 44-48 finish from the last time they met, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
After a disappointing zero points in their last game, Owendale-Gagetown made sure to put some points up on the board against Akron-Fairgrove last Friday. Owendale-Gagetown were fully in charge, breezing past Akron-Fairgrove 56-0. Owendale-Gagetown found Owendale-Gagetown's leader in underclassman sophomore Andrew Partaka, who rushed for 171 yards and 4 touchdowns. In fact, with ten tackles Evans was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Caseville came up short against All Saints Central, falling 30-44. This makes it the second loss in a row for Caseville.
Owendale-Gagetown's win lifted them to 3-4 while Caseville's defeat dropped them down to 4-4. We'll see if Owendale-Gagetown's success rolls on or if Caseville are able to steal their positive momentum.
