Maryland School for the Deaf had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.4 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 77-47 win over the Hancock Panthers. The Orioles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 contests by 21 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Hancock lost, don't look at Jacob Anderson. Despite the final result, he posted 35 points and seven rebounds. With that strong performance, Anderson is now averaging an impressive 15.7 points per game. Hayden McCarty was another key player, putting up five points along with six boards and three steals.

Maryland School for the Deaf's victory bumped their record up to 26-1. As for Hancock, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
