Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Brayden Waller Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Trinity Christian Academy got the W thanks in part to Brayden Waller playing the best football he has all season. Waller rushed for 111 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 117 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 59 yards.
Waller must have First Assembly Christian's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Waller saw the Crusaders), he picked up 80 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Lekhy Thompkins put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 165 yards and a touchdown.
First Assembly Christian's probably not too fond of Thompkins given he always seems to get the better of them. Thompkins rushed for 265 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 58 receiving yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Crusaders duked it out back in October of 2023.

Jackson Christian Gets a Boost from Lawrence in 42-0 Victory
Duece Lawrence was instrumental in extending Jackson Christian's winning streak to four on Friday. Lawrence did his part (and then some), rushing for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries for the 'W'. His longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
If the past is any indication, Lawrence could be in store for another big game when he takes on Harding Academy on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Lawrence saw the Lions), he rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
