Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Orting). Their defense stepped up to hand the Foss Falcons  a   76-0 shutout  on Thursday. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive  victory against them.
Orting's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Kyle Curtis led the charge by throwing for 102 yards and four  TDs while completing 88.9% of his passes. What's more,  Curtis racked up 163  passer rating, the most he's  had since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Carson McCall, who rushed for 108 yards and one  touchdown on only six carries.

 Orting was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 278  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 160  rushing yards in 13 consecutive  contests  dating back to last season.
