The Wakeland Wolverines's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 63-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Reedy. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Reedy was led to victory by Cooper Stevenson and Md Awe. Stevenson scored 14 points, while Awe scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Ferner, who scored ten points.
Wakeland's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Reedy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-14 record this season.
Wakeland will head out on the road to face off against Newman Smith at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Reedy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against The Colony at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
