Plainfield is 9-1 against Griswold since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Plainfield Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Griswold Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. Plainfield's defense has only allowed 29.8 points per game this season, so Griswold's offense will have their work cut out for Griswold.
After a string of three wins, Plainfield's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were the victim of a tough 37-11 loss at the hands of Lyman Memorial.
Meanwhile, Griswold came up short against Montville on Friday and fell 49-42.
Plainfield's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-1. As for Griswold, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Plainfield skirted past Griswold 34-32 when the teams last played back in January. Will Plainfield repeat their success, or does Griswold have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
