The Seneca East Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Carey Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Seneca East is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
Seneca East scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They took down Bucyrus 62-46. The victory was just what Seneca East needed coming off of a 69-32 defeat in their prior match.
Carey posted their biggest win yet this season on Saturday. They blew past Mohawk 62-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Carey has posted against Mohawk since December 19, 2020.
Carey can attribute much of their success to Rachel Reinhart, who scored 22 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Reinhart has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee Row, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Seneca East's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Carey, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-2.
Seneca East came up short against Carey when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 46-35. Can Seneca East avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
