  Laynee Gardner tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side, Rivercrest got a  massive  performance out of  Raven Powell, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Molli Austin, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Meanwhile, Gosnell can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent  contest  on Tuesday. They came out on top against Harrisburg by a score of  10-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The high-scoring effort was just what Gosnell needed considering they were shutout in their previous   game.
 Rivercrest has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record  this season. As for Gosnell, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
