In what's become a running theme this season, Central gave their fans yet another huge  win on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the South Mountain Jaguars with a sharp  16-6 victory. The  win was just what Central needed coming off of  a  10-3 loss in their prior  match.
  Kevin Fagundo made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  pitched six innings while giving up  three earned  (and three unearned) runs off   eight  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks). Fagundo was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Manuel Jimenez, who  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4.  Cy Gatson was another key contributor,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with three  RBI, a  triple,  and a  run.
 Central's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-9. As for South Mountain, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-12.
 Central will head out on the road to  square off against  Sierra Linda at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.4  runs per game this season. As for South Mountain, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Fairfax at 3:45  p.m.
