Hilltop Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Caleb Manriquez out in front who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Manriquez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Judah Lee, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds.
Hilltop Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season. As for Wilson Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-20.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hilltop Christian will face off against Wilmington Christian Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Wilmington Christian Academy: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Hilltop Christian has snatched up seven consecutive wins on the road. As for Wilson Christian Academy, they will face off against Living Water Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Living Water Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups.
