The Seaforth Hawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Southeast Alamance Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Seaforth is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.9 runs per game this season.
Seaforth will bounce into Wednesday's contest after beating Jordan-Matthews, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. The Hawks walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Jets on Tuesday.

Emma Grace Hill spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on three hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Abigail Johnson was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Annika Johansson, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southeast Alamance). They were the clear victors by a 22-7 margin over Graham on Tuesday. The Stallions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by ten runs or more this season.
Southeast Alamance let Anna Thomas and Ava Wheeley run wild. Thomas got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double, while Wheeley went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs Wheeley has posted since back in February. Kailyn Richardson also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Seaforth is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Southeast Alamance, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-8.
Wednesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Seaforth hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .346. However, it's not like Southeast Alamance struggles in that department as they've averaged .321. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Seaforth skirted past Southeast Alamance 3-2 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
