There was early excitement for The Fremont Silverwolves after they claimed the first score on Friday, but it was the Westlake Thunder who ended up claiming the real prize. Fremont took a 31-14 bruising from Westlake. The win made it back-to-back wins for Fremont.
Slade Parker threw for 141 yards on 19 of 42 attempts. Finley Mitchell was his top target, picking up 58 receiving yards and no touchdowns.
Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Westlake, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-9.
Fremont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Westlake is also done with their season.
