After a string of seven wins, the Octorara Area Braves's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were dealt a 91-64 loss at the hands of Constitution. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Tuesday (61), Octorara Area still had to take the loss.
Constitution had a senior duo take command as Kyree Latimer dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds and Amir Speights went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 0 assists. Latimer also posted eight assists for the first time this season. Perry Fields was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Octorara Area's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-2. As for Constitution, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Octorara Area will take on Lancaster Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lancaster Catholic is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Constitution, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mastery Charter North - Pickett at 7:00 p.m. Mastery Charter North - Pickett is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
