It was a good run, but The Habersham School Patriots unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They received a tough blow as they fell 74-55 to Savannah Christian. The Habersham School has not had much luck with Savannah Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, The Habersham School still got an impressive performance from Luke Rowland, who scored 18 points. Rowland continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Carter Britt was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
The Habersham School's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Savannah Christian, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Habersham School won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Trinity Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 19th. As for Savannah Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Calvary Day at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Calvary Day is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
