It was a good run, but Ridgeland unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 3-0 to the Neshoba Central Rockets. The match marked the first time this year in which the Titans were not able to get on the board.

Ridgeland's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-4. As for Neshoba Central, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 11-7.

Neshoba Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-1 loss against Southeast Lauderdale on the 3rd. Hopefully Ridgeland payed attention to the Rockets' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
