The Centennial Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 92-20 victory over Lake City Community. With that victory, Centennial brought their scoring average up to 51.3 points per game.
Devon Vigil continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 28 points along with eight steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Enrique Molina, who scored 15 points.
Centennial's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.4 points per game. As for Lake City Community, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centennial will challenge Moffat at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Moffat is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Lake City Community, Lake City Community and Antonito will face off at 4:30 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
