St. Vincent-St. Mary waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Crestwood Red Devils by a score of 8-3. That's more bragging rights for the Fighting Irish, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Will Morehouse looked comfortable as he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, St. Vincent-St. Mary let Zack Kurkey and Logan Henderson run wild. Kurkey went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Henderson went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Those three hits gave Henderson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Engelhart, who earned one RBI, one run, and two stolen bases.

St. Vincent-St. Mary's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Crestwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Coming up, St. Vincent-St. Mary will challenge St. Edward at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Eagles have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Crestwood, they will take on Ellet at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
