It was a good run, but the Algoma Wolves unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 53-36 bruising from Brillion. Algoma has not had much luck with Brillion recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Brillion's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Camden Hale, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Emma Schuh was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds.
Algoma's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6. As for Brillion, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Algoma will face off against Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home. As for Brillion, they will head out on the road to square off against Chilton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chilton has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 263 points over their last four contests.
