West Bladen entered their tilt with St. Pauls on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Bulldogs. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 5-4 loss the last time these two teams met.
JT Hepler made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in five of his six plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

In other batting news, West Bladen let Chase Bryan and Ashton Davis run wild. Bryan got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles, while Davis went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, two doubles, and two RBI. Those four hits gave Davis a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jonah Bryan, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
West Bladen kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in three consecutive contests.
West Bladen's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for St. Pauls, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
West Bladen didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-2 win against Latta on the 20th. As for St. Pauls, they have also already played their next game, a 9-7 defeat against Village Christian Academy on the 18th.
