There's no place like home for North Buncombe, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Wednesday. They were the clear victor by  a  10-0 margin over the T.C. Roberson Rams on Friday. The Black Hawks' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Sadie Jo Hunter made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. That  home run marked the first that  she  launched this season.
 In other batting news,  Ali Jo Rice was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave  her a new career-high in  RBI (two). Another player making a difference was  Caelie Gilstrap, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2.
 North Buncombe  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as T.C. Roberson didn't  got any hits.
The  win  got North Buncombe back to even at 3-3. As for T.C. Roberson,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
