Franklin's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eldon Haack, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Haack has scored all season. Gregory Boettcher was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Franklin bumped their record down to 1-11 with that loss, which was their tenth straight at home. As for Heartland Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 4-10.
