Bainbridge-Guilford put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 16-7 margin over the Delaware Academy Bulldogs. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Timmy Kinter made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Kinter was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Connor Davy, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Davy is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Parker Buttice, who went 2-for-3 with four runs.

Bainbridge-Guilford's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Delaware Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bainbridge-Guilford will face off against Schenevus Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Delaware Academy, they will head out to square off against Harpursville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
