It was a proper cat-fight when Suffield Academy took on Williston Northampton on Wednesday. The Tigers came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 9-5. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won five games in a row.

Suffield Academy got a massive performance out of Benny White, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one triple. Those four RBI gave White a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chase Beloin, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Suffield Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive contests.

Suffield Academy pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Williston Northampton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.
