The Fairfield Prep Jesuits will square off against the New Canaan Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Fairfield Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Fairfield Prep lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Law, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's matchup. The Jesuits put the hurt on the Lawmen with a sharp 7-1 victory on Wednesday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 15, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Andrew Wong tossed a big game, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jack Nolan, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. Another player making a difference was JJ Schachinger, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, New Canaan was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 5-1 win over Immaculate. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

New Canaan also got a great performance from Stuart Hellmann as he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

On the hitting side, New Canaan's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Luke Ungaro, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

New Canaan now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Fairfield Prep, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
