The Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons were the 56-43 winner over the Whitman Vikings when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Bethesda-Chevy Chase fell to Whitman 58-53.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Whitman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Thomas Farrell, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Titian DeRosa, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Bethesda-Chevy Chase's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Whitman, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Bethesda-Chevy Chase will square off against Wheaton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Wheaton has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests. As for Whitman, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Gaithersburg at 7:15 p.m. Gaithersburg has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 183 points over their last three matchups.
